Blood. Pain. Murder.
It had never quite occurred to me what exactly these things meant until I joined the war for Texass independence. I walked along the dirt and glanced at all the people around me. They all seemed like they were waiting for something bad to happen, like nothing good could come out of this war. Maybe they were right, maybe they werent. I kept my chin up and walked towards the edge of the Alamo wall. Seeing all of the soldiers and people who had come to The Alamo surprised me. More people than I ever thought would come, came to defend Texass Independence.
As I moved through and up to the wall, the darkness filled the evening. I made small talk with a few of the soldiers and moved to the top level of The Alamo. My eyes scanned the ground below and I noticed that something tinted. Then I realized what it was
Mexicans. I whipped out my gun and shot the first one in front of me. More were coming and my eyes widened as my gun shot warned the others behind me. The Mexicans were advancing and advancing fast. Luckily, I had excellent aim with my gun.
Before I realized it the Mexicans were climbing over the walls and shrieks were heard from our own people. My ears picked up a prickling sound and then a loud bang occurred. Forcing my body to the ground, I glanced next to me seeing a friend. My eyes softened and I watched until the light left the mans brave eyes. All I could think of was, destruction, pain, and death. War was not as glorious as it was said to be, it was a battlefield, a battlefield full of cheaters.
