Three days had passed…he knew he had to do something. After all she was his friend. Rex sighed slouching in his leather chair. He smelt the cold fresh air pour into the room. Rex looked out the window longingly. He felt as though he had lost something huge.
Slowly he got up walking out of the house. The chatter of human footsteps greeted his sensitive ears. Rex put on his ipod blasting the volume as high as it would go. He raced down the sidewalk toward Valteria’s house.
A mansion stood alone in the middle of the woods. Florescent flowers filled the front yard. The gardener glanced at Rex curiously.
“So you’re the new one ehh?” He asked. Rex stared at him with a weird look.
New what? he thought walking up to the front door. He pushed the door bell hearing an annoying ding. Then the noise of footsteps reached the door.
Valteria pulled open the heavy door seeing Rex standing in front of her.
“What do you want?” She questioned angrily.
“Listen I …” Rex began. Instantly he felt a warm breeze on his face. Quickly , Rex slammed his hand in the door to stop her from closing it all the way.
“Why are you angry with me?” he asked curiously. Valteria made a face as she whipped the door open again.
“YOU GOT MARRIED AND NEVER TOLD ME!” she yelled. Rex sighed looking into her eyes.
“I know…but it was two hundred years ago. Besides Carmen and I are divorced now.” He replied.
“TRY A HUNDRED YEARS AGO…AMBER…YOUR STILL WITH HER!” She screamed in his pale face.
“Amber?…we never got married…I don’t even like her like that. Where did you get that idea?” Valteria’s emerald eyes widened slightly and her face turned a faint pink.
“Oh…well…she…” Valteria stammered as her voice began to disappear. She stared at her feet as every few seconds she would glance up at rex and back to her feet again.
“Who told you that?” Rex asked crossing his strong arms across his chest.
Valteria gazed behind Rex seeing Amber walking past. She glared as Amber walked up to Rex.
“Rex…”Amber said. Swiftly, Valteria lunged at Amber tackling her to the hard ground.  Amber had a shocked expression on her face as she attempted to push Valteria off her body. Rex grabbed Valteria by the wrist throwing her over his shoulders.
“What is going on?” Rex said sternly.
“She…she said you were married to her.” Valteria responded with a frown. Rex looked at Amber.
“I can explain…” She whispered.
“Please do.” Rex said putting Valteria down and crossing his arms.
“Yah explain!” Valteria echoed Rex. Rex glanced at Valteria.
“Maybe you should go inside…I’ll be right in.” Valteria gave Rex an annoyed
look.
“NO!” she yelled putting her hands  on her hips.
   “Please…” Rex begged. Valteria sighed as she turned to walk up the porch steps and into her mansion. Rex burned his emerald eyes into Amber’s brown ones.
“I …I…” Amber stuttered.
“You…?” Rex said listening intently.
“Rex…I love you.” She replied. Her face became as red as a cherry. Rex showed the slightest sign of emotion. He looked at her face blankly.
